Before co-founding Croft & Johnson LLP, Jordan practiced at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP with Alex Spiro and Tai-Heng Cheng as mentors. He has represented individuals, corporations and sovereign states in a variety of matters ranging across domains including entertainment, intellectual property, defamation, free speech, antitrust, municipal law, shipping, energy, defense, construction, crypto-currency, securities, and insurance. He has practiced in myriad fora including New York State Court, the Delaware Court of Chancery, various U.S. Federal Courts and international tribunals in New York, D.C., Paris, London, Stockholm, Singapore, Beijing, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. In addition to his legal practice, Jordan is a film producer and has an intimate understanding of the production process.
After obtaining a joint law degree from Georgetown Law and Sciences Po-Paris, Sean joined DLA Piper LLP, where he served as an international disputes associate. While there, he worked on a variety of matters, including high-profile investor-state arbitrations, commercial disputes, and criminal investigations. He has practiced in federal and state courts, assisted in front-page M&A deals, drafted contracts in a wide range of industries, advised individuals and corporations on various OFAC sanctions regimes, and assisted a number of Spanish-speaking pro bono clients. Sean, who is also a film director and producer, now focuses on serving clients in the entertainment industry in both transactional and litigation settings.
